About Us

Who We Are

Our Mission

To permanently preserve and protect land and water resources for future generations.

Glacial Lakes Conservancy, Inc. is a private, non-profit land conservation organization based in Sheboygan, Wisconsin. We were established in 1996, driven by a deep concern for the future of our region's lands and waters.

As one of 40 land trusts in Wisconsin, we are part of the national Land Trust Alliance — a network that has collectively protected over 60 million acres of land from development across the United States.

We serve five counties in eastern Wisconsin: Sheboygan, Fond du Lac, Manitowoc, Calumet, and Kewaunee. Through land acquisition, conservation easements, and active stewardship, we ensure that the lakes, forests, wetlands, and prairies that define our region remain wild and accessible for generations to come.
