Stone Fence Haven
A haven of natural beauty defined by historic stone fences, permanently protected to preserve its unique character, cultural heritage, and wildlife habitat.
About This Property
Stone Fence Haven is a property with a distinctive character — its historic stone fences speak to generations of human stewardship of this land. Protected through a conservation easement with Glacial Lakes Conservancy, this haven is permanently shielded from development.
Historic stone fences are not just cultural artifacts — they also provide important wildlife habitat. The crevices between stones shelter small mammals, reptiles, and invertebrates. The fences create microhabitats and travel corridors that support biodiversity in the surrounding landscape.
