Gooseville Creek Preserve
A creek corridor preserve permanently protected through a conservation easement — safeguarding water quality, riparian habitat, and the natural character of Gooseville Creek.
About This Property
Gooseville Creek Preserve is protected through a conservation easement held by Glacial Lakes Conservancy. The preserve encompasses the creek corridor and surrounding riparian buffer — one of the most ecologically important habitat types in our region.
Creek corridors like this one filter agricultural runoff before it reaches larger waterways, provide cool, shaded habitat for native fish, and serve as wildlife travel routes connecting fragmented natural areas across the landscape.
